Chirac's couple

I don't think so. I've not heard anything so hopefully not. I was looking forward to his version of Autumn-Watch.

You are lovely to revive this but is there some sort of row we should be having about this statement?

I find it bothersome.  But I couldn't articulate a proper response.

We could all get martial arts names I suppose but I can't find a decent generator and can't be bothered to make one up.

@Sir Creep

I suppose if a bloke was to say it in a way that was to suggest that he was about to have intercourse with his wife then, yeah,  i can see how a fight could develop.

Imagine they both died in a car crash / airplane disaster and suddenly loads of people are googling "Chirac Couple" and find this thread

My pointless post / thought for the day is why Shaun of the Dead decided to change to the Irish, "Sean". Big Team found? Not that I mind. All the cool kids are Catholic.

Is this where we are supposed to discuss if charon is an eggplant (aubergine) or a celery?

OK I thought since no one said anything they were different people, it took me like a friggin MONTH to figure it out.  I'm slow like that.  But thanks for posting this national enquirer type question.

Just fucking stop it with the euphemisms. Anyway the eggplant / aubergine chat was much more interesting.

Does anybody actually eat them? Android and FB have an emoji for the slimy evil fuckers. Even my son aged  three could identify them in his toys. What is the world coming to? I despair.

They are cucumbers with colour for the Damned?

* cucumbers are for folk going to Hell regardless.

** I have no idea whit an aubergine or cucumber taste like, you only get cucumbers up here in tesco to feed the economic migrants, so, fuck that.

Be like eating couscous.

Not a thing.  You'll have to excuse 'eggplant' but I make 'eggplant surprise' which is basically battered/fried eggplant (round slices) and spaghetti sauce, some sprinkle cheese.  I've not met a person who has anything short of adoration for this dish.  If it weren't such a mess to clean up, I'd make it far more than the few times a year I do.
SC

EDIT: As for cucumbers, my daughter loves them so we put them on our Subway sandwiches.  I like the skinny version far better than fat garden variety.
All THAT said, when I lived in Polish Hamtramck, MI, they put them in sour cream + onion + some vinegar I think, and they are incredible, a cucumber salad as it were.  So try them like that and get back to me.  Here's one of a zillion recipes online all say about the same thing.  https://theblondcook.com/german-cucumber-salad/
