I read on the forums that a lot of you like this group, and I like them too. :)

If you're into Fairport style folk, have you ever given the late Bert Jansch a listen? Was a friend of a friend, quite influential and respected in his day.

I heard some of his stuff before, and from what I heard I enjoy. Dave Van Ronk has also been in rotation for me as well...

I think Morrissey is a virulent, festering bucket of fuck. But some of the stuff The Smiths churned out was pretty good.

They should have at least invited you to participate in annoying the neighbours.

I'm just happy that they didn't put the toilets against my fence.

I'm listening to all 106 of Haydn's symphonies.  Just finished the ebullient 68th.

Listening to this again, it’s still as chilling today as it was when I first heard it...

Working my way through the top 500 albums according to Rolling Stone magazine.  Started at the bottom, a few real duds in the first 100,  but now that I am in the 300s it has been pretty good.  Helps pass the time on my long runs, and has been a nice combination of nostalgia and stuff that has been new to me.  I have been surprised by how much I have liked some things I thought I would dislike and never would havegone to otherwise.  A good way to get out of a listening rut.

And somewhat Deathlist related, as Willie might become a popular pick the next few years with recent hospital spells

Always thought Aimee Mann was a bit of a meme musician, but there's no denying this is a banger that deserves its yearly runout today:

Great underrated album, if you want to revisit (or visit, as it were) 1986...
