who to you think was sexier/better looking when young Debbie Harry or Madonna

I always thought Madonna tried too hard to be sexy and because of that, she wasn't.

Debbie Harry.

Then again, I fancied my drama teacher more, she was lovely!

Debbie Harry had spunk, and that immeasurable goes a long way.  That said, whilst I considered Madonna a bimbo at first, I realized later she did write some of her songs (lyrics) and found some respect for her.  I also appreciate her political bent, which is spunk/moxy if it’s own.

I just wish the two of them would have come over to Sir Creep’s place circa 1984 and hashed it out.

Are you psychic? Was listening to that when you posted it!

This one's worth it for the video alone. Amazing special effects.

I think we have a psychic chain going on now as I was listening to The Chemical Brothers when I saw this post!

Appropriate for today I suppose, given his health scare. I'm not a devout Costello fan, but this is great:

Today I went off the beaten track to lay flowers at my wee gran's resting place, almost exactly a year after she died. She was an old-fashioned lady. This was her favourite song.

A promo dropped our way this morning and do we love it or what.

There's not exactly a shortage of low-fi old-school lunacy around but The Cramps know the killer from the filler.

HIGHLY recommended

I was reminded of it:

Edit: And well, that other one should be linked here as well (it gets good after 9 minutes or so):

Love stumbling across a great track I haven't heard for about a decade. This came on in the car earlier and I used my dashboard as a drum kit whilst blasting down the A12.

My depression's winning its merciless crusade against me at this point and I'm listening to Morrissey. Whether or not there's a correlation there is something I shall ponder once I'm back on form again, or at least when his throbbing baritone gets out of my head. This is, at least, one of his less macabre songs.
