I watched 1964's Southern Gothic classic Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte yesterday, which Olivia stars in opposite Bette Davis. It was weird to think that the woman on screen was pushing 50 yet is still with us.

If you do not include the name of Mrs.  Dame Olivia de Havilland on the list next year, she will die.

Following Nanette Fabray's death, Olivia is the sole surviving actor in The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex (1939).

Olivia was trending on twitter today alas not in the UK but in Los Angeles but well understandably my first awful sad thought when I saw her name on twitter trends was that she had died rather than the next stage of her court case!!

Pressure of the courtroom will kill her; ambulance dragging her away faster than Suge Knight!

A 1930's and 40's actress is trending in 2018 for suing.

This is Trump-is-president level insane!

Still looks remarkable for her age in that photo which we are told is recent. Not saying she’s going to last that much longer but compare her to Kirk Douglas and it’s pretty obvious who has had the better time being a centenarian. Olivia has had the very best of the lottery of life, not many look like that at over 100.

Agreed looking at that Photo she looks like she has years left in her, it wouldn't surprised me if she lived to be 110 though i suppose at her age something could kill her suddenly but she looks in fantastic shape for a woman who is just under 4 months away from celebrating her 102nd Birthday.

Utmost respect for her. She’s basically the only person left standing who was famous in the 1930s as an adult. She’s pretty much the last famous person of an entire generation. It’s quite an achievement. Sadly no one is immortal and one day soon it will be her last but what an innings she has had.

So, there's clear presumtion she has the physical and mental longevity to see this through.

DL 2020 or thereabouts for a result, then

Aye, you may have a point - she's one of those near impossible to call cases. Not wasted/ventured any dead pool punts on her this year.
