Simple poll (or even pool?):

Which "Lil" is the next to die?

My vote goes to Lil Skies.

I actually considered him! Not because I knew him, but because he was first in the alphabet... But I kind of had enough Lil's already and he seemed not quite notable enough.

I voted for Xan. I considered voting for Pump but I think most of his antics are faked for views.

9 years old and already planning a comeback:

https://www.businessinsider.de/9-year-old-youtube-star-lil-tay-disappeared-from-internet-2018-6?r=US&IR=T

"Reportedly, Lil Tay has plans to make a comeback after her image has been rebranded."

So I assume an abortion at 11, heroin addict at 13, bankrupt at 16, "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here" at 19, "Dancing with the Stars" at 21, Cruise ship performances at 24, dead at 26.

Lil Pump is likely telling the truth about his drug use and seems to be doing so irresponsibly so I'll go with him.

Lil Xan used to be hooked on Xans and uses his platform to say that "Xans gon' betray you" yet implies that pretty much every other drug is a-ok. He's like the Raheem Sterling of cloud rap.

There’s probably millions of other lil’s. One of them is bound to go before the few on this list...

Has opened up about social media addiction, saying that she spends 5 hours a day on Twitter. She uses social media to elevate her status and engage in debates. Pretends she's working when really she's on Instagram and she can't be bothered to talk to her 2 children.

It's all about fast cars and cussing each other..."

I kind of hope one of them dies fast, so I can make a new poll and add Lil Aaron and Lil Yachty (Edit: and Lil Jon!), and possibly any other of the more prominent Lils out there (even "formerly Lil" Bow Wow?).

"Spotify Now Features over 8.000 rappers with "Lil" in their name":

https://www.youredm.com/2018/06/08/spotify-now-features-over-8000-rappers-with-lil-in-their-name/

Oh, and by the way, "Gucci Gang", by Lil Pump: Over 700 million views:

(Edit: I'm kind of proud that I did pick about 90% of those that should be picked.)

Syd Lil at 75 is my bet.

Burger boy a couple of years ago, which is as funny as his spiel.

Fair amount of voting for any other...

It'd be an interesting PhD that tried to link fleeting fame relying partly on a "L'il" moniker with sudden demise via suicide or reckless behaviour. A bit of psychobabble suggests that internalising self-esteem issues and then dealing with them by assuming fame and celebrity will solve the problems will likely end in tears (metaphorically) and l'il tragedies that snag points for some of us.

The correct answer was: "Any other "lil"" as Richmond (California) rapper "Lil Buzz" was unsurprisingly shot:

https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/Family-friends-remember-slain-Richmond-rapper-13028332.php

Well, and there was another fatality, "Lil' Howling Wolf" a "world-famous" blues musician, 87 years old, standing a bit apart from all these other lils:

https://www.fox13memphis.com/top-stories/blues-artist-lil-howlin-wolf-dead-at-87/773700700

So, new poll? Or just let it die?

He was the son of mentored by Howlin’ Wolf, one of the blues greats...
