Ringo Starr

@YoungWillz was astounded that this 80s children's entertainer (famous for narrating Thomas the Tank Engine in the UK - Americans had George Carlin iirc) didn't have his own friend. He appeared on the original Deathlist. So here he is, a thread for all things Starkey.

Apparently he was also in a band back in the day.

Look at my Hare's Pool team, plenty there for the accursed...ha!

In recent times, Starr's stopped signing autographs, become a great-grandfather and been knighted. And it's his birthday soon....

My whole post was a piss take based on the other thread that you have already read and commented on - thank god there are a few Glaswegians on here with a proper sense of humour.

I suspect that it’ll be Paul who’ll be last alive solely for the irony of the Paul is Dead rumors...

In seriousness though, Ringo had a lot of health issues in the past. Not recently, but in his early Beatles day, he had to miss touring due to some rare illnesses. I doubt he’ll reach 90...

Of course he is.  But he's otherwise healthy.
Ben Stiller is famous enough, as is Goldie Hawn, Timothy Robbins, and Justins Trudeau and Timberlake.  Where are their threads?  (knowing he will force the issue lol....)

Lay off it, Ringo's a international icon and his thread his clear popular as it's being used. Get over yourself. Get over yourself. Get over yourself. You America centric mong.

In other words you can't defend your position.

No, I can defend my position I just have no desire to defend my position to you. Ringo Starr is one of the most famous men in the world, he has a lifelong health condition, he is in his late 70s, he is a member of a band of which two have already died far younger than they should have and he looks like dog-shit. It's fairly clear why he deserves his own thread above someone young and care-free like Justin Trudea or Justin Timberlake.

Does this man look a picture of good health and living well to you

One thing I will say is that I don’t I have ever seen many gray hairs on his head. Don’t know if that’s heavy dye use or his vegetarian diet...
