Alan Alda

I am not sure about Parkinson picks. A lot of them survive for a long time (Michael J Fox, Muhammad Ali, Ottfried Fischer...)

Aye, but he’s already 82 years old, which makes him a much better candidate than say Michael J Fox, though I don’t think Alda is going quite yet...

I see him going in two to three years time. Seeing how long he lasts would be a good indication of how long Jesse jackson will last.

Didn't know he had a podcast. Anyway, this week's episode is a M*A*S*H* cast reunion if you wanna keep tabs on their various health states. Turning up are Loretta Swit, Jamie Farr, Gary Burghoff and Mike Farrell.

I had a listen to that, thought they all sounded well to be honest. Loretta's mum lived until she was 106 I think so she has longevity on her side. Jamie, Mike and Alan are all still working. I don't know about Gary.

Boris's mum has had it 38 bloody years.

Alan sounds a bit doddery here, still has all his marbles though. Mike and Loretta sound great though.

Jamie Farr sounds good here too, though he does make a few references to his age and mortality.

Jamie Farr is now selling personalised video messages to fans for £83 on Cameo. So still mentally agile I assume.

He's still all there, check out the interview in my message above, but his age/mortality seems to be on his mind.

So, having read his Wiki page a few interesting facts incl.

He's wearing his own US Army dog tags in M.A.S.H. (because he genuinely served in Korea but only after the shooting was over)

He's the oldest (85) surviving regular cast member from the show.

Seems fine atm, but also obitable for sure

Jamie Farr is one of those whose death would produce a winner in the Silver Screen Deadpool.

Interview from Aug. 2021. Sounds good, main issue is his hands which never stop shaking.

I've been following him closely for a long time. Not DL worthy just yet. Does regular podcast still as noted above. Clear + Vivid

M*A*S*H survivors and other notable people frequent it

@MortalCaso, thank you for this.
He's one of my favourite actors.
I spoke briefly with him 15 years ago.
It was very exciting.
He's a very polite person.
About pools... I can't write his name on either list.
I'm not able.
Yes... I know you think I'm a fool.
But I don't care, I'm like that.

@MortalCaso, thank you once again for this. ;)

Wasn't posted here, but he gave an update on his Parkinson's in October where he basically said he feels good and doesn't have many significant issues. Surprised to see him on the list. I reckon he'll be the type to decline gradually, but he's still doing a weekly podcast as has been mentioned many times and looks fine so I don't imagine that'll be in the near future.

Can't help but feel this inclusion is a tad premature.
