Aye, though remember LFN, Downie *made* the front page. The Cmme are unto their own, and don't listen to anyone, but sometimes they really love a sitting duck...

Apparently in that documentary The White Zulu showing in S Africa recently, Johnny Clegg now admits he is terminally ill and is "considerably weakened". Saw it looking up Midsummer picks, forgot to post, lost the url.

The Grim Reaper is about to make a big mistate by choosing the wrong Clegg; why can't it be his long lost cousin Nick instead?

We have recently lost Maggie Clegg, so you never know, he could be going for a triple.

Kind of a lazy hit by the committee. He wasn't exactly their kind of celebrity, so they put him only at nr. 50.

Still, good for them to change their ways.

Sadly, I never listened to Mr. Clegg's music. Maybe I'll change that tonight.

RIP

Such sad news, I was a big fan of his music. Sadly I can't say the same for his long lost relative Nick Clegg but that's for another time. Johnny was a music legend, me and Diane will miss him a lot when we drink our cans of Mojito on the train together. RIP

Clegg made the main headlines on BBC Today on Radio Four. Granted, it's a slow news day so far but...still more than a few of us hereabouts thought

Short of the Reaper going nuts this week, I'd call him a shoe in for a spot on Last Word.
