Guess The Song

O.K. I've thought of a question that didn't take too long.

It's a favourite song (remember I'm an old bona queen of fabularity), its title is rather appropriate given my atrocious mental health state and it was number one in the UK singles chart on my 21st birthday (look on these hallowed DL pages and ye shall find the relevant information).

Get yer skates on good people.  :D

Dont You Want Me, Human League?

Not really that camp but pretty sure in the right age ball park.

Okay, I got one.

1. There are technically two very different versions of the song but is also by the same artist

2. The album this song is on is considered a live album

3. One of the lines is on a famous suicide note

Looks to be difficult clues, but honestly once you figure out one of the clues, it should be a dead give away...

Right, so older than charon, Willz and Toast, but considerably younger than LFN? :P

Joey - Neil Young, Hey Hey My My?

(or My My Hey Hey - I always mix the two up!)

OK, a nice quick one then.

1. 1970s UK number one.

2. Sung by a likely future Deathlist pick imo

3. Rabbits.

Ok this song was sung in a 1980s TV show to someone who was actually dying in real life.

Go!

Additional clue: It was a hit of 36 years ago....

Pass the Dutchie by Musical Youth, under the assumption that the person dying may have desired some biological relief and this being a subtle way of asking.

Or alternatively, I'm guessing.

Jeez, missed this, don't recall that being in a show.

Anyway, Handy's so close.....it was a seminal moment in the Fame series.

Ok

Number one hit in the UK in the late 1970s, the album it was from also reached number one. Lyrics are in more than one language
