Ideas and Possibilities for 2020

Recommended Posts

The most important internet blogger of Russia, very anti-Putin, has revealed his real name. "StalinGulag" is named Alexander Gorbunov:

Adding to the natural danger of any russian opposition politician is his terminal illness, spinal muscular atrophy. So yes, he's like the Russian head-transplant guy with a "real" claim to fame.

David Bellamy should be considered for the 2020 list, 87 next January and rarely heard these days.

Overheard someone say "you know, Stuart Robson [or maybe Robinson] hasn't got long left" today at a train station. So if anyone wants to check into the health of Northern Irish radio DJ Stuart Robinson, wheelchair rugby competitor Stuart Robinson, the former bishop of Canberra, the speedway rider or the footballer, feel free. Or maybe it's a non-famous person. Or maybe they meant he hasn't got long left as he was retiring from a position or is coming out of prison. Still, could be a key tip.

I searched the forum and looked if someone suggested him already and apparently nobody did.

I would strongly suggest Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, famous investor and commonly the 3rd richest person in the World.

He would turn 90 in 2020 and with his diet of McDonald's and Coke every day, I dont see him living much past that, despite having the capacity to buy himself 10 new hearts.

He's been suggested a few times before, in fact, he has his own thread.

So Stewart Robson - footballer/manager/pundit - has midlands history by way of his time at Coventry City

Not aware he's ill mind. You sure we're not talking about some guy that runs a sweet shop, or summat?

Its amazing that this didn't turn out in the search results.

In any way, the forum of him is a bit empty so I suggest him anyway.

Jumpin' Josh Beinn is (almost) our kinda guy. Seems pretty good with the risk assessments at the moment but he does also seem keen on setting "highest jump" records> https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-48205725

With the sad death of Doris Day maybe time for Angela Lansbury to return to the list?

Angela Lansbury is as fit as a fiddle for her age wouldn’t be surprised if she lived until she was 100, put her on the list in about 2025 onwards.

i vote for Alberto Fujimori and Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, both Peruvian ex-presidents, both currently in jail, both 80 years old.

(fujimori supposedly has tongue cancer since like 10 years ago)

I've been following the trial of Carl Beech, aka 'Nick', this week and note that the former head of the armed forces, Lord Bramall, 95, who was falsely accused by Beech of being part of a gang of sadistic child abusers, will not be giving evidence due to his declining health and frailty.

As an aside, if Beech is found guilty, the chances of him topping himself might be fairly high.

Crikey, a good list of immortals! We'll be lucky if just one of them dies before 2021.

Glynis Johns would be a good addition - Send in the coffin is such a good possible headline.
