So
Sir Creep

This came across my FB newsfeed for some reason today.
Olga's Kitchen is a semi-popular restaurant (was moreso 1985-95 I'd say), and as I recall the first to introduce 'wraps' sandwiches to the U.S. market (unlike a burrito).  OK enough background info -- a certain NYTimes obit here, but who knows her chances on the Pond's other side?

"The woman behind Olga's Kitchen, Olga Loizon, turns 91 today, and the franchise she created from the ground up is celebrating with Snackers, Snackers, and more Snackers."

Apparently it's a new product offering at Olga's.

——————————

Olga Loizon, who opened a small Greek sandwich shop in 1970 that grew to become the popular restaurant chain Olga's Kitchen, known by generations of metro Detroiters, has died at age 92.
SC
(So yes I posted this, then created a Made in Detroit theme team and forgot about her

Those who had pencilled in socialist theorist Erik Olin Wright, creator of the concept of Universal Basic Income, for their Deadpool Cup teams, bad luck: he's dead at 72.

Staggeringly slow start to the year on the croak front. Last year they were out the traps in record time with news of a celeb cashing his chips every other day.

It seems these deathlist 50 are having their own version of “dry January”. I hope this post is the nudge in the arm that fate needs to prove me wrong. Here’s to fatal February.

Considering a pile of expected deaths have occurred (and Fairlie in the UK so no excuse), there are no excuses.

The body of former surfboarding champion Chris Brown was found washed up on the California shore during the morning of the 25th, police say.

Wrong Chris Brown to have washed up, Reaper!

Was anyone planning on picking ‘legendary’ Arizona high school football coach Paul Moro for the cup next month? Too bad, he’s dead.

For the record, no way in hell a high school football coach (ie a high school teacher) is famous at anything.  You go 900-0 your just a high school employes.  If @msc planned on letting that thru I need to know that we have basically eliminated any fame threshold for this year.
