Lady Falkender dies aged 86- I was surprised to see that I don't think she was a DDP pick this year.

Think I had her in the Poker Tourney...alas, my picks tend to outlive pools by just enough to annoy me.

Top UK headteacher and aide to Prince Charles, Bernice McCabe, has died aged 66. Picked by two teams in the DDP, assuming she obits quickly, I think that's the first time Living End has topped the scoreboard since 2016?

Don Newcombe, the first pitcher in major league history to win Rookie Of The Year, a Cy Young Award, and an MVP Award (this feat has only been matched by Justin Verlander), died yesterday at the age of 92.

EDIT:  Sorry about that, folks:  I see that this was talked about in the Baseball thread.

Still no obit.  I thought she'd get loads straight away, which shows how much I know.  Hopefully something will appear in due course.

I'd be optimistic.

Can't deny I'm jealous, because she was the "pick I fell in love with" and rejected because of the fear of seeing more than there is.

The one I mentioned w/r/t being a pick I didn't think would obit but just seemed like such a me pick was Vinny Vella, an actor who had minor roles in Casino and The Sopranos and has stage-four liver cancer.

Erstwhile radio presenter and occasional appearances on TV, Edward Enfield (Harry Enfield's dad) has an obituary: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2019/02/25/edward-enfield-columnist-travel-writer-television-presenter/

Picked for the ABC Deadpool, maybe elsewhere. He'd have been 89/90.

One of mine, cheers.
