Harvey Proctor was right.

First line of Bramall's Times Obit refers to the police raid on Bramall's home.

One of the more interesting obituaries you'll read.

Mona Graham was a Marine, co-founder of a Backstop Pizza restaurant and vice president of a bank in Niles (IL). But before all that, she survived the 1944 circus catastrophe known as “The Day the Clowns Cried.”

Mrs. Graham, who died last month at 87, was just 12 when she escaped a circus fire in her native Hartford, Connecticut, that killed 168 children, men and women and injured nearly 700 more. Fifty-nine of the victims were under 9 years old, according to the Hartford Courant.

It was the worst disaster in Connecticut history, and it was the biggest circus fire of all time.

HERE is a website dedicated to the fire.

I like it.  I like the original too.  Subtitle could be yours!
@Admin ( @Death Impends or @Paul Bearer) can we make Toast's a proper subtitle for Dickless thread?

  • Thanks 1

The original subtitle was Insert cheesy Dick pun here... so I think you've hit the nail on the dickhead. :D

Another one off the 2020 longlist: David Gibson, the bakery owner who was at the centre of a row where he was falsely defamed by Oberlin College lecturers as a racist (he received $25 million in a settlement) has died of pancreatic cancer.
