So I nip to the shops and....

I can tell you to a young and inquisitve mind, watching Don't Ask Me with Bellamy, Magnus Pyke, Miriam Stoppard et al was certainly a way to engender a science interest.

Thanks Mr Bellamy for helping me grow. RIP.

I'd forgotten all about him.  I'm afraid I found him terribly annoying to watch and listen to.

Maybe already posted but anyone missing a sporting QO should be having a gander down this SPOTY list - pretty comprehensive.

Jordan Dawes made the list of footballers - fair play to them for that

Still amazed that Robin Herd didn’t get a mention there...

And even more astonishing is that Alan Rollinson, as nice a bloke he was, DID get a mention. He was a non-qualifier, yet the man who designed numerous successful racing cars AND was Oxford United's chairman didn't get a mention in either. None of the other motor racing drivers who died in 2019 would've got anything from the BBC but Herd was the big miss there.

We still don’t have an illustrators thread according to a search?

Anyway, Tom Adams, illustrator of the Agatha Christie books, dead at 93.

Ah, those were the covers when I began reading Agatha Christie.  They were brilliant.

Looks like Tamara O'Brien, who I'm sure many people had on their long lists died off the radar, and is only noted by a single line on an old article of her. Was also a Windy City pick...

Always seemed to be around in things when I was a lad. So how many possible threads could he have gone in?

Pop Stars? Character Actors? Songwriters? Carry On Dying? Comics and Comedy? Children's TV?

Kenny Lynch did it all, and there's probably a couple of generations who have never heard of him. RIP.
