Radiation exposure

Recommended Posts

Know of any celebs (or forum members) who have been to the Grand Canyon museum's collections building in the last eighteen years? The collections included paint buckets(!) full of uranium.

"One of the buckets was so full that its lid would not close.

Stephenson said the containers were stored next to a taxidermy exhibit, where children on tours sometimes stopped for presentations, sitting next to uranium for 30 minutes or more. By his calculation, those children could have received radiation dosages in excess of federal safety standards within three seconds, and adults could have suffered dangerous exposure in less than a half-minute."

Nah, valid thread imo , think 'Litvinenko', and other assassination jobs.

Plus the Reactor tsunami in Japan , I know the lead boy died of brain cancer was it? but the radiation couldn't have helped.

Yoshida was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, which was determined by TEPCO to be unrelated to the nuclear accident, due to the rapidness of its onset. He retired as plant manager in early December 2012.[5][6][7] He underwent an operation for the cancer and later suffered a non-fatal stroke.

Esophageal, apparently. Equally nasty.

Got to love his bosses passing the blame on and giving him a warning for preventing a meltdown.

Good timing.

Crematorium worker exposed to radiation after a cancer patient gets torched without them knowing he'd had radiation therapy.

So the forest around Chernobyl is on fire still.

2020 is really trying to kill us huh.

Shit.  Ironically the coronavirus situation is helping them.

“We are lucky to have quarantine measures in place now,” she said. “People stay at home, walk less and wear masks,” anyway, because of the coronavirus threat."

Viktor Bryukhanov, who managed the construction of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and who was the director of the plant from 1970-1986 reportedly dead aged 85:

Played by Con O'Neill in the 2019 miniseries Chernobyl. He had been in failing health for a while, having already suffered three strokes (before 2017). Radiation could have played its part?

Suprisingly, Nikolai Fomin seems to still be alive. 84 and the last survivor of the three held responsible for the disaster. He attempted suicide before his trial and spent a lot of time in a psychiatric hospital.
