Usually you can find a comfortable intersection on a circle diagram with unnecessary thread launches and new members starting threads.  But I guess we refuse to make a rule against it.
It's a shame when an olde timer starts a bad thread, but that isn't often.  It's worse that the deed goes unpunished.  THAT is where I come in.  It's my DL job. The Admins have so delegated by way of nonfeasance.
