Benedict's health was often subject to denials and guarded secrets whilst in office but he had a pacemaker and one stroke before anyone elected him Pope and it's been a slow downhill slide since then. Recently thought to have been injured in a fall from his own bed - which is never a good sign for anyone other than dead poolers. We might usefully assume his obit chances are fairly good.
