UGH.... well I was just banging out names on the old iPhone.
I appreciate your offer, but if Sir Creep is about one thing, it's about maintaining the rules as written and if everyone else can abide by them, by God so can Sir Creep.   Lee Noble it is (my joker).

The Masterlist is up.

We have 35 teams, which is 5 more than last time.

I am still waiting for some replies to my queries, so I regard it as only 99% complete.

Hopefully, there will be no more ambiguity among the submitted names. I already had some questions, there might be more incoming...

But a big thanks to all for not making me veto any picks. They all look okay, or at least okay enough.

Edit: Jokers are in bold.

And my team is revealed name for name in the old XXXXX-ed post.

Yep, Last and Tolkien are in! Also, I had to adjust my formulas for the jokers..... and Deadsox already hit his one, so instead of the previous 40 pts he got 80.

Otherwise, slightly quieter than last year, this previous week?

Cancer mums allowed?  Smh she is on my DDP ffs I’d have put her here if I knew we eliminated any sense of celebrity.  I’ll go to local old folkies home and take down names.

She was quite famous in both the United Kingdom and Skandinavia. She had an extremely popular Beauty Blog and YouTube videos and also gave advice (like Dear Abby in the USA). She was well-known by most women here - no surprise though that many men do not know who she was, just like not everyone one knows who  certain sports figures are, etc. As a side note, more young people under 45, in Norway at least, watch YouTube and Netfliks, than watch traditional TV - even us oldies are catching on!

I'd never heard of her.

There are numerous nobodies who upload multiple videos online of them applying make-up, dyeing their hair etc.  They are not "famous".

To be fair, Samantha Last is/was an iffy case - but she was a beneficiary of the rule that in cases of doubt, "BBC coverage in any form will convince me" (it's in the rules!). And Last had it:
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-norfolk-49771450

By the way, I think the person that gave me the most headscratching was Sir Creep's own pick Erminia Motika, who basically is the mother of an American celebrity chef. She might have a different last name than given, or the name "Motika" is an anglicized version of "Mattichio". But well, it could be that she was in front of a camera herself a few times. So I thought I just go with it instead of a big discussion.

New Update:

Terry Jones was a very popular hit, sometimes even a joker. Sir Creep however gets two unique hits with Jay Allen and Jack Van Impe, well done! If only, if only.... And then Sonia Kinsella was a unique hit for me, putting me at nr. 1, but you know by now how this goes.... I think I was at nr. 1 at one point in each of the past 3 years without winning. And then, it's only January....
