Seriously they had 5 episodes on a week and its now down to 1!

Forces TV is quite good - seen Sapphire and Steel and Randall and Hopkirk off it in the last year. And Space 1999, which was a bit dire.

Ah Sapphire And Steel - I remember watching it first time round - Milo O'Shea's son in the first story and he's slightly older than me! There's a lot dead from Dr McDee Must Die. Then you realise it's 40+ years old! *sigh*

Marian Cisovsky's day of death was ill-chosen. Too many football decisions elsewhere - all the pent-up games of the Corona break. I wonder if he's the second obit victim after Ed Genson.

This guy (who seems to be a journalist for multiple publications) mentioned his death and tweeted at a couple of other journalists after this tweet, so I’m guessing one of them will write something sometime in the next week:

We're a bit unlucky this year with a few non-picks, i.e. Ratzinger, or John Prine. It's getting more likely that we miss the hit record, again.

Big obits nailed-on, surely - though atm Wikipedia still thinks she "is"

Big obits for sure but the Herald obit means points shall be coming your way next time Reptile is about. On the DDP at least, I don't know the Hartlepool QOs (I just pick people and hope for the best!).

Indeed, was merely making the point she's a shoo-in for decent obits whatever the qualifying rules of a dead pool.

BBC on it as well: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53382561

It has been a while ago, but one of my first ever Deadpool picks (Caskets on Parade in my winning year 2008) has finally died:

Noël Martin, a Jamaican-born former construction worker, who got attacked by Neo-Nazis back in 1996 and was paralyzed since then. He annouced in 2007 to seek for euthanasia (which he  never implemented):

An obscure choice that days, today maybe one of twenty possible picks on a team.

3 unlikely bastards picked Paula Tilbrook and fall foul of the Neville Buswell crack of their pick dying last year and not being announced til this year.

@msc

Yeah, saw that earlier. LOTL then. Very unfortunate. I can only say, in my official capacity: "Unlucky bastards!"

I believe I’m leading again after the sad demise of John Lewis. However, I am by no means safe enough for the title, so I’ll just enjoy the view on top while it lasts...

Re Tauranac - there's always the fallback that BBC Sport tend to list motorsport deaths at the end of the year - that was the way points were snagged for Jim Russell not too long ago

Found this photo of Ron and Black Jack Brabham - do they look like Laurel and Hardy, or what?

As I update for Ruth Morrissey, we now have 6 teams within 4 points. Has it ever been so close, so relatively late in the year? Well, we have 5 months left, and lots of potential hits that can change the scoreboard.

Yeah, this year is far from over and I could see anyone really win it from the top 15 still due to how close it is. Though I’d be more surprised if, say, Lord Football’s Usual List of Ill People wins instead of folk like To Kill a Gabor Sister...
