Re book writers - as we're discussing above - Lady Glenconner's book has sold incredibly well since it came out so she's having her highest profile exposure ever. Easy to forget she turned 88 in July

Lady Glenconner gets "angry" at Netflix show The Crown... angry enough for a heart attack at now 90 years old?

And now a Lady Glenconner interview in the Guardian. Still extremely active, not one for us:

What about Paul Rusesabagina, the hero of the movie Hotel Rwanda, portrayed there by Don Cheadle?

Now he's 66 years old, in prison and being accused of terrorism and possibly in ill health:

Well, it's 2023 now and Paul Rusesabagina is still in ill health but has been freed and has been released to the USA:

Maybe Anne Clark.

Tour is cancelled because of her cancer treatment!

Anne Clark seems to have recovered well enough to tour again, but she was in intensive care for a while:

Ken Westbury, camera operator and cinematographer, 93.

Here's a small list of his credits: Whisky Galore!; Kind Hearts And Coronets; The Man In The White Suit; The Cruel Sea; West Of Zanzibar; Dixon Of Dock Green; Z Cars; Adam Adamant Lives!; The Forsyte Saga; The Onedin Line; When The Boat Comes In; Doctor Who; Secret Army; Tenko.

And do you know what? No Wiki page and therefore probably won't obit in the UK press. *sigh*

Ken Westbury dead. Couple of years early YW. Guess we'll find out about the obit in due course.

There's an obit from the British Society of Cinematographers (published 2nd May) here.

He died on 28th April, aged 96. No Wiki page, largely forgotten tv shows and films in his list of credits. I would be surprised if he got a QO.

Never in doubt. The surprise is it isn't Hadoke who wrote it.

He's been busy I know what with all his soap appearances on top of the day job.
