Maybe we have to create a stickied thread for the newcomers to tell which names do not need to be suggested anymore... because we are kind of the experts on this.

Edit: Reaction to the Norman Lloyd mention

Ahem...

Weird, I searched for his name using the site's search engine and got no results other than his name appearing in a long list of other Hollywood people...

If they weren't mentioned yet, I'd like to nominate American musician/ satirist Tom Lehrer and Nobel laureate John B. Goodenough. Both are above 90 years old, and I think Tom Lehrer would even like a nomination.

There are quite a few Tom Lehrer fans on this forum, myself included. Beyond the super obvious Poisoning Pigeons in the Park and We'll All Go Together When We Go, I'm quite fond of Lobachevsky and The Irish Ballad.

One morning in a fit of pique
She drowned her father in the creek
The water tasted bad for a week

And we had to make do with gin, with gin

We had to make do with gin

He has been reclusive for years so finding out modern info on him is difficult. He did appear in a rare current photo in 2018 however.

Also he was inspired to write Alma after reading her- Alma Mahler's- obituary. He would fit in here, I'm sure.

How about British glam rocker Gary Glitter (75) for 2021?

That'll be an obitable pensioner in jail, then. I can see your point. If he's revealed to be in bed with Covid-19 that'd sound like a step forward from the usual Julie (14) jobs he used to prefer!

Steve Priest of The Sweet is currently in hospital in LA. No reason given in the statement by his family on FB page, other than "receiving the best possible care".

Steve Priest "recovering" but moved into a facility - which suggests some sort of severe stroke to me.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Hilary Clinton

Nancy Pelosi

Bill Clinton

All four of them known world-wide and exceptionally evil and wicked that  their deaths would most certainly be covered by United Kingdom media.

After disappearing down a Wikipedia rabbit hole recently I noticed David Jason turned 80 this year.

I don’t recall any of them creating a situation where the deaths of 100,000 Americans is the best outcome?

Imagine loving a dude who puts children in cages and causes hundreds and of thousands of people to senselessly die, but despise someone who ripped up some papers.

I don’t even know where to begin on RBG. It’s saddening that people like this even exist.
