The Dead of 2020

Recommended Posts

A rare hit (and a joker at that) for my DDP theme team Our Top Story Tonight. I can’t wait to see what pun awaits Mr Downs in his bit.

It’s quite fitting he died in 2020

That's why I had to put Barbara Walters on my list!  Didn't have Hugh but at least I have him in one of my pools with my buddies.

Irwin Molasky was responsible for Las Vegas’ first hospital, master-planned community, enclosed mall, golf course housing development and the land where UNLV sits.

Molasky was surrounded by his family Saturday when he died from natural causes. He was 93.

John Gannon, DJ around the Manchester area who was responsible for goth/metalhead/mosher nights at all the city's main alternative clubs (Satan's Hollow, Jilly's Rockworld, etc), dead from liver failure at 55.  He was also the first person to play records by his friends' band - the Stone Roses - so maybe you can blame Madchester on him.

If all of Madchester was as good as the first Stone Roses album there'd be no blame going anywhere

This might be sacrilegious, but didn't he bear a striking resemblance to the radio one DJ Nick Grimshaw when he was a young man!
