arghton 6,114 Posted June 17, 2021 Funeral attending bets (unless they'll have an only-family funeral): Zambian Presidents: Rupiah Banda: Will probably attend. Visited a cigarette factory a while ago so I would be suprised if he didn't attend a former president's funeral. Guy Scott: Probably won't. If he does, he'll either use a rollator or more likely will be in a wheelchair. Edgar Lungu: Collapsed in some kind of an event four days ago but I'm sure he will attend the founding president's funeral. arghton 6,114 Posted July 4, 2021 Interesting moments: 2:32:55 to around 2:42:18, 78-year old Emmerson Mnangagwa, Mugabe's successor gives a slow and unclear speech mentioning that these are "dark times" for Zambia. 3:13:50 Uhuru Kenyatta's speech starts. He's only 61 but has gained a lot of weight during the last few years. Also a very slow speech with some gaps for thinking. 3:28:20 Edgar Lungu's speech. However I didn't seem to find former presidents Rupiah Banda (I've mentioned that he's 84, has colon cancer and rumored dead at the end of last month, however the government issued a statement saying that he's in good health) or Guy Scott (Only 77, but ailing skeleton with parkinson's) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
