NB: Lots of wrong info on the internet about who actually performed on this record but this site sets the record straight. As for the promotional members who toured in the UK for the record, again lots of confusion but this Facebook page set up by Terry Anderson himself confirms the four names who toured in the UK. There is also a comment from Orr's son on a post confirming that he is dead, and a full date of death on his own page. This obituary for a Jimmy King (1950–2019) claims to be the one in the band, which is silly as he would've been just 13 when they disbanded! As per this the real Jimmy King was actually Lou Josie (but Ancestry records confirm he was born in 1936, two years earlier than the age he publicly used). Birth details for Anderson are from his Facebook.

IIRC, the band went down to a four piece for the album containing their last two or three singles. However, certainly on the vid for It's A Game, there's 5 folk playing, probably not on the track if it was lifted from the album. Session?

Further Bay City Rollers info seems to indicate that Gordon "Nobby" Clark was the vocalist on Keep On Dancing, born 10 September 1950. There's also some indication that Jonathan King did the backing vocals!!!

 

This article from the Scottish Sun contains a pic of Pat McGlynn, who if I'm not mistaken is the mysterious 5th member on the It's A Game video - doubtful he played on the track though.

Okay, almost done.

Managed to find a few more sources and get lineups for all singles cept Love Me Like I Love You.

And if you see above, I got birth details, to some extent, for all them cept John Devine. All I know is he was born in Edinburgh and was turfed out to be replaced by a 17 year old (Tam Paton did like 'em young so would suggest that Devine was maybe a year or two older).

Wayne Parris - Now this may be sheer coincidence, but here is an obituary for Norman Parris: https://www.allensummerhillfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Norman-Parris2/#!/Obituary who died back in 2013, but which references a younger brother called Wayne - trumpeter and musician! Now there's plenty of family information there if the deceased was in fact his older brother.

Found her. Born in 1947 as Ann M. O'Dell in Hampstead (surname variation was why I couldn't find the record in the first place). Seems she was living in Surrey as of 2010.

First question is - did Kevin Parrot re-record the song with Mick Coleman, before it went out? Apparently not, so Brian Burke bogs off to settle down and I'm assuming gets a performer's royalty on a song he never promoted.

Grand! I've seen her apparently taking bookings as part of a jazz ensemble as recently as last year, she's still alive. Her Twitter account is protected so I don't know how active that is.
