Haven't had time with all these deaths and a sunny weekend in Glasgow to look at the others above.

If nobody major dies by morning, I'm on it.

MFSB.

Norman Farrington is quoted in various sources as Norman Fearrington. https://musicrepublicmagazine.com/2018/05/m-f-s-b-definitive-collection-2-cd-collection-robinsongs-now/

Seems to have come from Philly, the above link states MFSB were Philadelphia International Records house band. As does this link: http://nortommusic.com/ (scroll down to Norman Fearrington bio). Now I've seen him referred to as based in Copenhagen, though Nortom Music seems to be made up of Swedes and Norman.

This might narrow your searches down due to the rather different name. Hope it is of some help.

Missed the alternate (and now favoured) spelling, thanks!

Can't find a record on Ancestry annoyingly but I did find him in a Philly yearbook photo. Born c. 1946, so I've added that.

Has a Facebook, sadly private so can't pull a birthday from that.

Baffles me that only 6/19 of the members of that single are still living. It was "only" released in the mid-70s!

Otherwise it's a tough old search for details.

Awesome! No I hadn't come across his FB.

Born 15 Jul 1948, added!

Too many windows open again!

We The People Band.

Junior Chico Chin's FB page: https://www.facebook.com/chico.chin.18 Seems to be a bit of information there.

Franklyn Waul is generally known as Franklin Waul (even his niece on Twitter uses that name!) and he seems to have still been working in July this year. All the evidence points to him coming from Kingston, Jamaica and he's probably still resident there. Apparently Lloyd Parks had to get him out of school to perform with the band.

I've seen an interview with Lloyd Parks where he indicates that Lloyd Kerr has moved from Jamaica to Florida, but can't seem to find much else.

Devon Richardson was (at least 5 years ago and probably still is) a lecturer in drum kit at the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston: http://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/entertainment/20150412/ibo-seeks-set-record-straight and http://emc.edu.jm/schoolofmusic/faculty/

NB: The Collins Complete UK Hit Singles book maintains that he was born in 1947 and his career started in 1955. This appears to be nonsense according to this blog post as people commenting state that he was active from the 1940s and that he was at least in his 40s by the time of the 1970s.
NB2: According to comments on the above YouTube link, he's deceased. One says he died in January 2007. He appears to have spent a lot of time in London, so could have been from there. The GRO doesn't turn up any further clues. There is a Raymond Claude Morgan (b. 1931) who died in Kent in the first quarter of 2007. Could this be him?

Thanks! Managed to get Chin's full DOB from sourcing him on Clustrmaps in Fort Lauderdale area.

Also got the late Winston "Bopee" Bowen's birth date (he was a FB friend of Chin's).

Most of the others are on there. Little on their profiles though. Waul spells his name as "Franklyn Michael Waul" on his FB page btw. It's likely the name was interchangeably spelt over the years.

Nothing on Devon sadly (he is on FB though and is definitely still in Kingston). There are two people called Lloyd Kerr living in Florida according to Clustrmaps – one 70, the other 73. He could be one of them but I've got nothing else to link sadly.

Just one more part of M left. We're 2/3 of the way through all of the 1970s acts!

Mixtures.

Idris Jones full name is Idris Lloyd Jones from Adelaide (his brother's full name is James Evan Jones). At 3 mins 52 in this video, there's an article from The Sun from July 1969 which says as far as I can see he's 23 years old. (Go full screen to see it better!). That's going to put him in the 1945/46 birth range.

Updated with QO obit from The Mirror.

Article says she's had years of health problems. Did we miss that? It appears she died on her birthday too – big DDP opp missed there.

06/04/1974 Long Legged Woman Dressed in Black #13
NB: This group is a total headache, mainly because the only concrete member was Dorset with an ever changing lineup around him. I'm pretty confident all of the above appeared on at least one charting single. Trying to find out if Joe Rush (1940–2020) or Paul Hancox (b. 1950) also did as they were members during this period.
NB2: Some useful info here. For whatever reason they seem to have omitted John Cook though.

Musique.

Gina Tharps seems to be definitely Gina Taylor-Pickens. I'm going to assume Tharps was her first married name. This seems to confirm it: https://strathdee.wordpress.com/2018/03/09/disco-the-forgotten-artists/ and the personal life of her now husband (since 1984) James Pickens Jr: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Pickens_Jr.#Personal_life If they've a son named Tharps it all ties in.

Angela Howell - nada.

Thanks. A tad confusing as RateYourMusic says Taylor was born 1954. Ancestry suggests c. 1959. I'll put it as "1950s" for now.

Anyway, looks like the pair of them are going to be around for a while. They're big health enthusiasts
