This suggests there were only two, and mentions that another biography claims singer and actress Adrienne Posta (b. 1949) was involved. This is dismissed elsewhere, and she would have only been in her 20s at the time of recording. Kay was actually born c. 1940 and was from Bristol as per a newspaper cutout here. YoungWillz 19,014 Posted October 3, 2020 Poppy Family. This article from 2014 indicates the relative ages of the band. http://www.vancouversun.com/entertainment/Poppy+Family+blooms+again+Experience/10015057/story.html Essentially Satwant Singh is similar in age to Susan Jacks, so probably born between 1947/49. Craig McCaw is 4-5 years older, so probably born between 1942/44. There's a link here that I can't access as not on FB also from 2014: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=677851995630454&id=576025122479809 and that might give you further links.

Gah! Cheers YW. Finished the section now and added The Players Association members in (14 of them and only missing bio deets for one). Platinum Hook – came across both of these FB pages earlier and this is where I got Corley's birth date. Bobby D has his privacy settings way up so can't see anything sadly! The Poppy Family – this is a difficult one. All four are credited on the album, with McCaw and Singh being an integral part of the group already at this point. So I've put them down as promotional members instead rather than scrubbing them off completely. That was a ballache of a section. Too many blanks. I'll finish P by Monday.

msc 17,759 Posted October 4, 2020 What a band Queen were. There's not even any of their top ten listed above (it came mostly in the 80s and 90s imo) but most of that would be the greatest hits for another band. Rafferty'll be in the next lot if I'm keeping score. The boozy grumpy genius didn't often trouble the charts after he took more to drinking instead, but Baker St and Night Owl (which I prefer) both made the top ten. A fan digresses.

Yup, Rafferty will be in the next one. I have the Night Owl album on vinyl. Stick it on every now and then. Get it Right Next Time also one of my all time favourites.
