Florida State university coaching legend Bobby Bowden has Covid at age 90, but is feeling good.

Usually, I mostly ignore college football people, but he gets TMZ coverage:

57 year old journalist  Martin Bashir,  most famous for his 1995 Panorama interview with Princess Diana, is seriously  unwell with covid related complications.

Is that what he's "most famous" for?

Maybe a generational thing because I know him for the Michael Jackson and Who Wants to be a Millionaire Major Fraud documentaries.

I think he came off worse than the subjects. Slimey soulless journo.

Oh for me that interview  is iconic and historic even above  and beyond  Michael Jackson  .Not necessarily  because it's the most  interesting or entertaining  but in terms of its importance ,significance and the consequences that flowed from it.

It was that interview that prompted the Queen to write to Prince Charles and Princess Diana and basically say enough and order them to  divorce.

Ditto. Also additional information to keep in mind: he's a brain cancer survivor. One to watch...
