Only about 5 because even for older people the death rate is only 10% and we saw George Alagiah beating this virus despite having terminal cancer.

Quite a range of guesses so far:

0, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 16, 17, 17, 17, 21, 22, 26, 27, 29, 33, 40, 50, 56, 250, 420, 500, 3396

In terms of the prize for the winner of a vaccine, my work on that is progressing and we are now moving to human trials. It will be tested on Prince Philip, Nobby Stiles, Vera Lynn and Jimmy Carter, so here's hoping it works.

Kiefer Sutherland announced his mother (Shirley Douglas) 's death on Twitter, saying she succumbed to complications surrounding pneumonia -- but not related to COVID-19 -- on Sunday morning. While it is more likely than not that it was actually Corona, based on the rules in post one above we can't include her, so we're still on 2.

Any last guesses before this closes tonight?

Browsing NYTimes's coronavirus obituaries section and I noticed they had William Frankland there. That makes three then.

Candidate for ironic death of the year.

You right. The search bar doesn't work for some reason.

Article mentions his son confirmed it was the virus - might edit wiki now to add it.

Hopefully none, says the guy who has to write the obits...

Thanks for the shout out for this thread on Eddie Large's obit. I'm convinced that Sonny Franzese had corona too but I guess no way of proving it unless I go undercover in the mafia like Johnny Depp in Donnie Brasco and try to find out the truth

We're almost at the end of June, and nothing since 12 April. Unbelievable! If it stays like this @Genfærd will be the winner.

So Kamala is the 5th known fatality from the DDP then.

Yes, updated.

Looking more likely that with my guess of 7 I will win my own competition.
