Randomly popped into the 110 Club and found what has to be the record holder for the above - Lois Holden (previously Lois Russell), member of obscure gospel group the Gospel Stars, turned 110 in February. The Gospel Stars released several singles, along with the first Motown album.

Lois Holden died days after this post, in May, but given events, it was somewhat missed.

Eu acho que este é o lançamento que tem a pessoa viva mais velha nele, Al G. Wright ainda está conosco com 103 anos (faz 104 anos em julho).

I never really listened to their music other than realising a moment ago Sweet Home Alabama was from them. I'm now listening to their songs on Spotify and rocking out to their music. I need to make a 70's and 80's music playlist because since doing the kill or save thing i've added hundreds of new songs to my Spotify likes.

Do we have a compiled list anywhere that can help us track last surviving original members of their respective bands? I once have written the following one but I'm not quite sure that it covers all major bands.

Iggy Pop - The Stooges
Mike Pinder - The Moody Blues
Duke Fakir - Four Tops
Carl Palmer - Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Diana Ross - The Supremes
Barry Gibb - Bee Gees
Haruomi Hosono - Yellow Magic Orchestra
Paul McCartney - The Beatles
John Cale - The Velvet Underground
Sly Stone - Sly and the Family Stone
Roger McGuinn - The Byrds
Eric Clapton - Cream
Irmin Schmidt - Can
Micky Dolenz - The Monkees
N. D. Smart - Mountain
Jody Stephens - Big Star
Ziska Baum - Gong
David Johansen - New York Dolls

He joined the band 2 years after they were formed.

Wrong, Angus MacLise was their original drummer, she joined afterwards.

Damo Suzuki was not an original member. Malcolm Mooney joined the band after it was originally formed with the initial lineup of David C. Johnson, Michael Karoli, Jaki Liebezeit, Irmin Schmidt and Holger Czukay

The Byrds started as a trio of Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, and David Crosby.

Your original question never mentioned 'surviving original members', merely 'surviving members', ergo, my assertion re Ringo is correct. If you meant to say 'surviving original members' then fair enough, Ringo doesn't count, but you might at least admit you erred in your original post, rather than try and make it look as if everyone else is stupid.
