Glad my theory was wrong.  I think Harris is the safest pick, all things considered.  Bass isn't well-known enough and had some favorable comments about Fidel Castro that would've been problematic (basically would've guaranteed losing Florida), plus a bit of an association with Scientology that voters may have been turned off by.  Rice had the Benghazi baggage and has never held public office.  And yes, in this racially-charged climate in the U.S. right now, a black woman was probably the right way to go, as black women are the lynchpin of the Democratic voting base.  Harris is not perfect, don't get me wrong, but she checks the most boxes.

As for your serious question that I ended up making fun of, when its pride month every single corporation backs it (excluding the rare exception of Chik-filla). Plus the ads are everywhere, where the LGBT is being embraced by huge labels like Calvin Klein - like where they took down the good looking women from their ads and replaced them with that fat tranny. Anyone who opposes LGBT (and this includes tolerating it but disliking the idea of it) are publicly shamed. What exactly are the gays fighting against now? What opponent do they have that's blocking their freedom? Nobody, absolutely nobody. Even the Tories support LGBT. Most christians are accepting if not tolerant of them, or at least have the 'hate the sin love the sinner' approach.

 

There are places where LGBT rights are needed, and that is the middle east and the 3rd world. How come people dont care if gays get thrown off of rooftops but they go ape shit when someone says something offensive online or if a comedian tells an offensive joke? The reason being is that VIRTUE SIGNALLING IS MUCH MUCH EASIER THAN ACTUALLY DOING STUFF. I really couldnt give a shit what 2+ consenting adults do, I just wish I dont have to see it everywhere I look in the media. Plus I'm just gonna say it, LGBT is cringe. I dont wanna know about the dude who had his dick turned inside out and how we all need to call him she. At the end of the day, I'd probably be cool with calling he a she - unlike he/she was a dick, then I have every right to call him/her a he. As I said, got no issues with people being comfortable in their own skin/sexuality, I just really wish it werent constantly being made my business and stuffed down my throat - like how im supposed to now think that sticking 100 dildos onto your body and walking around is now normal - like I cant question why someone would want to do that or else I face charges...

Doesnt really matter who will win, the Democratic Party, like the Republican Party, are on the same level in terms of foreign policy, particularly with regard to Palestine, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, China, Russia etc.. Only the ways are different. Democrats, like Republicans, are subordinate to lobbyists and lobby groups. The Democratic Party only gives their appearance with make-up a better look, in terms of health policy, tax policy and the middle class. But in terms of warmongering and imperialism, they are close to the Republican Party. The United States needs real change without the Democratic and Republican Party. Without a fundamental reform of politics, laws, and elections in the United States, the demonstrations will not work. fundamental electoral reforms must be created in the USA.

and in my opinion the electoral system in the United States is so complicated, election day is Tuesday, which is a workday that prevents many voters from voting. Dont understand why can't you vote on a Sunday when everyone has free time with a simple identity card, as in many other states? Even the homeless and the lower classes have the right to vote and to vote for someone. What are the rich, powerful and lobby groups afraid of? People in the United States must take to the streets for real reforms and rights, cause at the end for me the democratic and republican parties are like a coin with only two different sides.

We're obsessed with him because like many other thoroughly decent posters he was permanently banned for a one off comment that meant nothing, while others who consistently post hurtful and abusive comments are allowed to roam the forum.
