Captain Tom Moore

Out of interest, how long do we think he’ll last for? He looks very frail. Sweepstake?

I reckon he’s a goner next year.

Especially if the trend of the oldest debutant of the list dying in recent years carries on, he’ll be a good pick.

He will use a baby as a shield during his knighthood ceremony and will be disgraced in consequence.

They'll release a family video back from 1978 and he'll be found to have referred to the neighbours as coloured.

There will be riots in the streets and the NHS will be told to return their £35m.

Th episode of Blankety Blank he appeared on will be removed from the BBC archives before he is burnt at the stake on 19th June (Juneteenth) the Queen will light the pyre.

I think we should all try and come up with a suitable DDP (or frontpage) headline for when he goes, that doesn't pun on 'no moore'.

'Fucked Vera Lynn's still-warm corpse'.

That's a winner. But not a pun, I suppose - maybe a thread tagline then.

I doubt he'll make it to 101.He seems to be an old 100 rather than a young 100, if you see what I mean.

Which one will go first?

They both look quite frail in that picture.

Definitely Sir Tom, he is 6 years older, a bloke so more likely to snuff it first plus won’t have medical resources available to him that the Queen has. A better question is who will go first Sir Tom or Prince Phillip? Would probably say Phillip but the best medical care available might swing it for him.

One is using a walking frame to stand up, the other is holding a sword up in the air and still standing up, I think that answers the question on who's more frail.

Point of interest: wonder when the last time was she knighted someone older than herself?  Dame Angela Lansbury maybe? Actually, didn't Dame Olivia only get hers relatively recently?

Olivia was after she turned 100 but I doubt she actually turned up in person

She didn't - the British Ambassador in Paris went to her home in the city and delivered it.

Dame Angela is probably the answer as she did turn up to meet the Queen in 2014.

I'll give him the freedom of Kayleigh, my young 20 yo nubile neighbour, if it finishes him off and we never have to hear of this again!
