Mike Nolan of Bucks Fizz fame is 66, he has already been given last rites some 36 years ago so he is doing quite well considering.

Surprised that Jean-Louis Trintignant has made the big 90 today. He really deserves a spot on the 2021 DL.

I suspect because the committee feels that nobody in the real world (i.e. who hasn't been frequenting here for the last year or two) would know who he is.

Brenda Lee  - despite having hits more than 60 years ago - is still speaking to me pretty at a mere 76. 

And it's mine too...

I would have done.  For some reason I've always had an awareness of French cinema people.

He passed what I refer to as The Mum Rule, when Mum or someone of that ilk goes "Did you hear so and so died/has cancer/etc?"

 

(Incidentally, she brought up Jan Morris which proves the point that was a generational thing rather than a fame issue...)

its the 60th birthday of former Birmingham City, Everton, Tottenham & Millwall defender Pat Van Den Hauwe. Despite being Belgian by birth, he represented Wales at international level, acquiring 13 caps. He was nicknamed "Psycho Pat".
