In 1977, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel was arrested and imprisoned, without a trial, for 14 months in which he was repeatedly tortured.

I need to check  again later but there hasn't been much mention of her on social media,  twitter in particular and no happy birthday messages on twitter for her 99th birthday last year.

A few mentions of her turning 100 but not as far as I can tell from authoritative accounts as such. 

I am slightly entertaining speculation that she may have died off radar.  I hope not- but anyway  as far as I know she is still alive so

Lee Trevino, the remarkable American former professional golfer, one of the greatest players in golf history, who won six major championships and 29 PGA Tour events over the course of his extraordinary career, is 83 today.

In 1975, Trevino was struck by lightning at the Western Open. Miraculously, he survived but his back was permanently injured.

Lee Trevino was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1981.
