RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted October 30, 2020 I was only considering posting a couple of days ago that after an unusually hectic start we've settled into the familiar pattern of silence that is normally a hallmark of the Scavenger Hunt but then, bang! The first heavy duty death of Game 3! 11 teams score with this I think, and 2 players score in a third category! RIP Nobby.

I am currently without my laptop as yesterday was my last day at work. RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted October 31, 2020 8 deaths already and 5 in the James Bond category (surely the Nobel Prize winners was odds-on to get to 5 first?!). In R1, Death 8 came 7 months into the game in January 2017, with the 4th death of a Test Cricketer - we had to wait another 2 months for the 5th in one category (House of Lords at the end of February). In R2, Death 8 came within days of 7 months passing in the game (end of September 2018) with the death of the 3rd Grammy Winner. It would be another 3 months (mid-December) before we hit 5 in a category (also Grammy Winners). In R3, Death 8 has come in nigh-on exactly 2 months since we started and also brings the 5th death in a category in the same timeframe - rapid! @Banana is already up to 4 hits in 3 categories. He is not yet one away though (unless I'm mistaken), whereas Death 8 in R2 got @Death Impends within 1 unique of victory. In R1, 3 players had reached 4 hits already after 8 deaths but none were yet within 1 of victory - in neither R1 or R2 did any of these players win overall either, by the way. Will we last the year with Round 3?!
