I created this thread once before and it was moved to Survivors. Now maybe that was the original intent of that thread but if you look at it (Admins I'm talking to you) you'll see it's been hijacked completely for nefarious purposes unrelated to "being the last surviving member" of something. So let's try this once again.   Mahlon Duckett, who died at age 92 on Sunday night (Sept 13), was the last surviving member of the Philadelphia Stars Negro League baseball team. As always, it's sad to loose these institutions personified.
