  1. Death is amongst us once again, he's a decent soul, and will be alright on the night he chooses to visit you or I.

  2. And death continues to walk amongst us. What will the Orange Cheeto have to say in tribute to McCain? That will be fun to watch the Twitter rage.

That's my round dozen for the year and still plenty more to be harvested.

I wish all Death Listers a most excellent year ahead, and hope I and you survive through to the end!

Once again let death wander amongst us.

C'MON COMMITTEE!!!!! It's already 2016 across many parts of the globe .... time to reveal your masterpiece.

They usually do it a couple of minutes before midnight GMT. So about 5 hours from now.

There is a dateline issue here that the committee perhaps does need to think about .... in this particular .. the 'Martin Crowe question'. He is there in the 2015 list ... and will no doubt be in the 2016 list .... but if he goes west before midnight GMT and the lists publication he can't score in either '15 or '16. Death List is not simply a UK phenomenon .... it's global ..... and should reflect that. Publishing the list as the globe crosses into the New Year would maximise potential.

Haha, interesting thought. An empty front page, all 50 places still void. Then Martin Crowe appears on, say, 7th place. Then an hour later, an Australian or a Japanese Person appears, and bit by bit all 50 places are filled. With the Americans however not appearing until 6 o'clock GMT or something like that.

But ...... who knows what time zone anyone is in?

Yet ..... of course they will have thought this through .... many years ago .... silly me!

Hi Wickerman. Some very good suggestions there indeed!William Frankland is a good pick and someone I assumed died many years ago!Stil, going at 103:Bloody hell.Haskell Wexler died yesterday though.I do think though that you have perhaps got rid of too many mainstream picks such as LaMotta , Bush ,Castro and Lynn.I also think you should definately consider bringing back Hawking and adding Howard Marks ,Tony Booth and Rob Ford.

Thank you Shaun my friend. Wexler departs too early ... sad ... enter Martin Crowe as 12th man. Your thoughts are worthy, however I set myself a target of no more than 40% from the existing list ... s'pose I shall live or die by this decision .... just hoping no one else leaves the stage early!
