Assassin, you do not exist in my alternate universe. How do you know what goes on there? That's your construct! And that would be Trevor Evans, yer numpty!

    The Death Penalty

The death penalty gives rise to some contradictory feelings. I accept that some crimes seem to merit the most severe sanctions. That life in prison is considered as a poor substitute is also a given when when the cost of prison long term is used to counter it's use. That giving the victims families some sense of justice is important. Against this are the idea that a life for a life is not a fair trade. How should it be done? Is any person worth more or less than another. We no longer have capital punishment in the UK but it seems that crime figures show it didn't have an effect. There wasn't an increase in murder as a crime when hanging was abolished. I'm conflicted because it is an area that can open so many lines of debate both for and against. But I'm still inclined to think it should only be used in the most extreme circumstances. That represents a shift in my attitude. Before reading through the debate presented here I was definitely against. Now, I'm not sure. Thank you Death Listers.

OK, That's right, kick the fool. I couldn't find my specs and saw Reginald as Richard! Yep, Stoopid! 'cause neither is his first name. Meanwhile, in another universe, Richard Christy the mass murderer did do it! And he was hanged!

We, any how. Back to shit we hate! BBC iPlayer: All the best stuff you can't watch, combined with.., all the shit you've seen already. And whilst I have some poor sods attention: All those trite, middle class sit com's that BBC1 curned out for years. Not funny, just slightly amusing. At least BBC2 did its bit with the young ones, Black adder Fawlty towers etc...

AWSOME!. Is it bad to admit to still thinking YES are as fantastic as Pink Floyd, but Budgie never quite made the grade.

    The Death Penalty

On I get it now. Sorry my mistake. I thought It was reasonable to expect if some one was wanting to shoot me down, they would have every thing they need, ready to go! Nah, seems I have to provide the ammo! To use a simple analogy: If a burglar breaks in to my home, I don't expect him to gimme a gun to shot him with. And on a lighter note, If you want to do something that's wrong on so many levels, try farting in a crowded elevator.

Seems the pedant police have visited you! Such attention to detail is admirable. Any way, I think that it's OK to provoke an active response from people. Some of you seem to have made the effort to find and disseminate some information. I am chuffed because I learnt a little more on the subject, thanks. If you look back on my first few posts here, you should see I was not pedantic, I was rather general and non-specific! I got the impression from some nit picker that I was obliged to provide a source for my statemnts. OK :-P

Roger Dean, the album cover legend is 71! Surely he will sadly hang up he's brushes for the last time soon! http://www.theguardian.com/music/gallery/2015/oct/21/roger-dean-somewhere-near-here-prog-rock-album-covers-in-pictures He also has a reputation as an architect and designer.

Hello again Sir Creep. You can't be bothered to find the facts for yourself, so I will put a couple of links in so you can try and find something to rant at me for. http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/race-and-death-penalty https://www.aclu.org/race-and-death-penalty And now, use your interweb search thing and find the U.S. beurau of justice. A government organisation that will verify the information. Stop being so lazy!

Yeeehaw. Yes trees, they are all renewable, pity the environment isn't. You kind of missed the point I think. We aren't going to be able to fix what we have already broken. It is already to late for us to patch up the atmosphere or get the polar sea ice to grow back. Wood realy is renewable in the sense that you can plant a forrest. Fossils fuels need replacing. Peat takes hundreds of years to form. Coal and oil take millions of years! Thinking in geological eras might stretch your brain a bit, but you did get it wrong. Unless you know how to make crude oil or coal, they ARE gone when you burn them. Renew that you arse hole
