    This reminds me of the coup attempt in the USSR in 1991. Ended with all the coup plotters in jail  within 3 days and one of them committed suicide.     I remember him best as teacher Mr Hubble in the comedy series Big School.(also starring David Walliams, Catherine Tate and wierdly Philip Glenister).  His character dropped dead during an award ceremony   and his body had to be  smuggled out the school.Hopefully his real life death was more dignified...:mellow:

    Can't be Trump because  he's entitled to use Air Force One till jan 20-unless he's going for the resign early and let Mike Pence pardon him option...I guess in that case not even being in the country when Biden is sworn in is the type of childish petty thing Trump would do ..

    Looks like he was on oxygen but not on a ventilator.(much like Boris Johnson).He is now breathing on his own and out of ICU.He's even spoken to his sons on a video call.     Why has Barbara Shelley's death been reported on the b list thread?She was a major star ! She appeared in possibly my all time favourite horror movie Dracula Prince of Darkness which was a Hammer production! . In fact I think she was the last surviving actor from it.

     

    Good excuse to watch a bunch of Hammer films she was in during the lockdown ! I think I'll start with Quatermass and the Pit ..
