    I was watching tonights news with tears in my eyes  watching the relatives of some of the 100,000 dead of corona in the UK Who would have thought so many would die from it so soon.. We are so used to talking about death maybe we sometimes forget the effect it has on their relatives and friends.I hope we all  get vaccinated as fast as possible... R.I.P to them all. :( (apart from Peter Sutcliffe, obviously)

    Some obvious misses were pointed out since it came out. Larry was the most obvious (already seriously ill with heart issues late last year, and had lost two children), Carlos Menem (quite easy punt) and Gorbachev (has been ill for years and years) are two other awful absences. I feel Desmond Tutu should have been on the list, he has suffered from cancer for a very long time, was close to death many times and COVID is sweeping South Africa and Jiang Zemin should have been on it too (years and years of heart disease, close to death at least twice, long absence from the political scene...).

    Carlos Menem took another turn for the worse a few days ago so keep an eye on that...

    Oh well, at least he hung on long enough to see the back of Trump, and before another one of his kids died..The last year or so of his life can't have been much fun !  If it wasn't for covid he could have had the most showbiz funeral in history with all his mates in Hollywood and politics !

    Carter will have been long dead.

    Clinton, Bush and Trump would each be 86 years old.

    Biden would be 90 years old.

     

    I'd bet Clinton and Trump will have pegged it by then, Bush has good genes but not much else so might make it. I think Biden might live into his 90s; we only perceive him as being ill because he ancient, being a full 3 years older than the healthiest president in American history.

     

    What's your bets?

    Both Trumps parents lived to their 90s so he might too.George W likewise. Clinton and Obamas parents died young though so they might not live so long. African americans tend not to.I do think Biden wil die within 10  years as he seems frail. So my prediction is that Donald Trump and George W bush will still be alive, possibly Obama too as he is younger, but who knows.. Bill Clinton and Joe Biden will be dead. Obvs Jimmy Carter as well. 

     

    Having just made that prediction I have probably just guaranteed that Clinton Biden and Carter will all live to be 110 and Bush and Trump will drop dead within a year !

    So Kamala Harris has now been inaugurated Vice President so technically that means she is Donald Trumps vice president for the next 15 minutes ! He must be hating that ! 

     

    edit- turns out they were so keen to see the back of Trump they swore in Biden 10 minutes early ! 

     

    Finally we can say the three words the whole world has been dying to hear for the past 4 years- Former President Trump !

    OMG that is horrific. This is well out of control. I don't think it's right to play this game to be honest but that said I wouldn't be surprised if it got past 2000 in the next few days.

     

    Also I predict that it will go above 100,000 deaths by next monday. Not many countries have achieved that ! (if achieved is the right word)
