Charles Osgood is a hit for me

I’m really surprised no one picked A.J. Foyt. An 89 year old auto racing legend with health issues could have been a great pick and he was on my long list.

You have Gary Lockwood listed twice on one team’s submission

It’s always interesting to see which uniques I get and don’t get. I’m amazed that John Okafor aka Mr Ibu is a unique for my B team. The guy has been poisoned many times and may have had one or both legs amputated recently.

Count me in!

I also noticed Tom Smothers is on my list. He should be replaced by Willie Mays who was my first substitute.

I see the rosters are all loaded. I was pleasantly surprised to see @An Fear Beag allowed my pick of Sammy Basso, as I was afraid he'd run into the FFBI category. Good luck to everyone!

Marland Jeffries, father of US House of Representatives minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, dead at 85 https://thepavlovictoday.com/democratic-leader-hakeem-jeffries-mourns-the-passing-of-father-marland-jeffries/ -
Looks like this pool finished with exactly 200 hits. Congrats to @gcreptile who appears to be the champion.

You seem to like politicians from Alaska for some reason.
-
Bronny James-If the game started on October 1, I would have picked him due to his age alone, but his cardiac issues were overblown and he's back to playing basketball Sarah Langs-She's only 30 but she does seem to have a rapid form of ALS. I played her in the Hare's Dead Pool Myron Kandel-I'm leery of playing people who don't have a wikipedia page, though I'm not sure why a prominent financial journalist doesn't have one. Played him in Death by Numbers just in case

Believe it or not, Nicholas Veliotes was on my long list. I rejected him as I didn't think he'd get a UK obit, but being Johnny Otis's brother might help.

This just my personal opinion but I think Robert Duvall should have been dropped.

Not bad. They did eliminate some obvious bad picks from last year: Alan Alda, Hal Linden and Angie Dickinson. I'm not sure why Robert Wagner is so high. I'm not surprised they passed on Bruce Willis. He seems more like a 2025 pick.
