UTICA, N.Y. -- Kaitlyn Conley, a 24-year-old woman convicted in November of first-degree manslaughter in the death of Mary Yoder, was sentenced to 23 years in prison today in Oneida County Court, according to media reports
Conley faced a minimum of five years and a maximum of 25 years in prison.
Mary Yoder, 60, of Whitesboro was Conley's boss and the mother of Conley's ex-boyfriend, Adam Yoder.
Conley was initially charged with second-degree murder. She was accused of poisoning Mary Yoder using colchicine.
