Sad to see him decline, truly a great politician and human, respected by nearly all current politicians beyond party lines (arguably) unlike any other living Finnish politician.
SKDL's former Members of Parliament Mikko Ekorre (1941) and Veikko Saarto (1934) were already too ill to attend it the last time it was held, a year ago.
Ele Alenius has died.

Zack Estrin, TV Producer, Screenwriter and Showrunner for Netflix’s ‘Lost in Space,’ Dies at 51.
There's quite a few TV threads and I'm not sure which one is most fitting so I'll just post here instead.

For the past week or so, Finland has been following the antics of a walrus who ended up in Kotka after making appearances in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. As the Baltic Sea is not an ideal habitat for the walrus, it was starving and weak and eventually she passed away yesterday evening.

Two of the Chicago Seven are still alive, John Froines and Lee Weiner. Plus, the black 8th guy, Bobby Seale.

I credit Tom Wilson for that, but Dolph certainly played a part as a recording engineer. The Norman Dolph acetate provides a good look into early VU though.

Mikko-meriahven, apparently a beloved fish in Helsinki has died at 17. Not being from the area, I've never heard of the lad but others seem to be mourning him.

Don't tell anyone, but I'm Jimmy Carter.

Perhaps it says something about Mino Raiola that he can personally deny his own death and I'm still sceptical .

With these super old people, I'm always interested in who were alive at the same time as them. Looking at wikipedia I noticed that Alois Hitler (Adolf's daddy) died a day after Kane Tanaka was born!

Another day, another reddit post announcing the death of an actor from The Wire. This time it's Al Brown who played Stan Valchek. Curious how the character has his own wiki page but the actor doesn't, must be very rare.
