Well, London Calling is one of my fave albums start to finish because it's so diverse. DMB has a lot of songs... Tripping Billies (most annoying), Don't Drink the Water. Never been to Detroit. I majored in music... guessing who gets into the HoF is a game to me. I said in 1999 that Eminem would get in as soon as he was eligible, and people would get so unbelievably mad at that one, but he got in 2022. Coldplay become eligible next year but I don't see it for them. Really depends who has friends on the committee and who Rollingstone Magazine worshipped. Soundgarden was actually blocked last year because there's some weird idea that Jane's Addiction deserve to get in before them. Oasis is on the list this year, and they already tried to start a fight with another nominee, Mariah Carey.

I don't get the damaging art either; people will just hate you and associate your cause with destruction. The environmental movement does this a lot. I'll do their tangible asks: I walk/take public transit; I use reusable bags: what else do you want me to do? They'll still spraypaint and break glass all over the riverbanks. How is that environmentally friendly? Who wants to clean up their mess? Who is going to be forced to clean up their mess? And they don't get it that in the poorer neighborhoods, oftentime parks will get fenced up or the museum/library hours will be diminished because their actions are too costly. (and I worked in groups of these activists before, and I won't again). And it's never clear what their asks are in these situations. Often, they aren't the oppressed group, so people will think "wow black people/Palestinians/etc act really chaotic" when no one in that demographic was even involved. So the oppressed group's reputation will never improve; meanwhile these destroyers can just jot down their "activism" on their resumes and move on with their lives. People associate positive actions with wanting to be around those things more, and have more positive thoughts and want to help. -
He was actually really sharp in his responses to the GOP heckling. The CNN flash poll went from about 45% of approval of his policies pre-speech to 65% post-speech. He stuttered as usual, but the GOP complaints were that he was actually talking too fast and energetically. There were some GOP even nodding along to Biden's policies that yes they were the ones he put for them to pass. Trump's social media crashed, so he wasn't able to do his live responses as he said. The GOP tanked their response with the robotic woman in the kitchen and they know it. Marjorie Taylor Greene violated the rules by wearing campaign material on the floor, and Biden's reaction when running into her was funny:

I mean, I do the vote when I can or remember or feel like it. Sometimes it's double at night, but most of the times it's not. I'd participate less if the rule was instituted. I'm not bothered by Sir voting that way at all. So the rule has only downsides imo.
