On this day 33 years ago, Romanian-born German rocket scientist Herman Oberth, who was best known as the father of space travel, passed away at the age of 95.

On this day 6 years ago, American actress Debbie Reynolds passed away at the age of 84. She starred in the movies "Singin' In the Rain", "The Singing Nun", "How the West Was Won", "The Unsinkable Molly Brown", and "Two Weeks with Love". Her passing comes just one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher.

Ken Potts and Lou Conter (both 101 years old) are American World War II veterans who are survivors of the Pearl Harbor attack on the USS Arizona. They were great heroes of World War II who handled a dangerous situation.

Sometimes we make mistakes in typing years. When I was in a hurry trying to type the year "1933" in one post, I accidentally typed "1833" instead, but I later edited and fixed it to "1933".

Today is Christmas day and is also the anniversary of when Hall of Fame American painter and printmaker Wayne Thiebaud passed away at the age of 101 and I will remember him on that day for years to come. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Romanian-born American lawyer Benjamin Ferencz, now 102, is now the last surviving prosecutor of the Nuremburg trials of Nazi war criminals. He was our hero to keep America safe right after World War II. I am so thankful for his career during the Nazi war criminal era.

Someone who currently has Alzheimer's disease is on my list for 2023 for sure.

The only people I have on my list including my list for 2023 are notable nonagenarians and centenarians because they are at an age where they can pass away to natural causes. Anyone younger than that, I do not have on my list.
