I remember reading/hearing that Mr Casey was badly jetlagged and was not very...enthusiastic.

Never picked in the DDP or mentioned here before, probably because he looked bloody good for his age whenever he showed up in stuff!
Bloody love Blood on Satan's Claw. Probably helped by first seeing it at the age of 19 and that scene with Linda Hayden. But there's other fun gruesomeness as well.

I remember Brough Scott on the coverage a year or two ago, a cold day at Ascot or somesuch. He progressively disappeared further into his coat the longer the afternoon went on. There was just a pair of eyes at the end.

Probably John Lennon, although a slight possibility it was Peter Sellers. Not that I'd have had a clue who either really was, but there were Lennon songs everywhere in the following weeks and months, so I soon became aware.

Hi, am new here. Have lurked for a bit but this thread has tipped me over into getting an account. What a splendidly spoddy idea.

Hello. I too have lurked for a while and have only just made an account. While having an interest in celeb deaths and being in a Dead Pool elsewhere, the Number Ones thread pushed me over the edge. I look forward to chipping in as and when.

I believe that is Richard Hoare who 'won' on Master Smudge in 1980.
