You're right. They were mainly in their mid-30s. However, when they are as good as Warne, for example, its probably best that the UK's thickest non-boxing sporting legend doesn't rile them. Botham could maybe open his big mouth a little wider and shove the other foot in.....for a second I had a vision of Clive Dunn, John Laurie, John Le Mesurier and Arthur Lowe doddering about on the pitch at the MCG - a disturbing image....Warney was back at the G yesterday playing "celebrity cricket" - hilarious! -

Cheers, Professor. That comment of Botham's must be some reference to tha age of our players I imagine, although not knowing the age of any of them I can't be sure. If I'm wrong please corresct. -

And if you're thinking of "having a go" about the Kiwis beating us today, Pook, don't bother cos I'm not listening...lalalalalalalalalalalalala.......*hands over ears* -
What service may that be? Wanting money for sitting on your arse in front of a screen all day. What's up with that? That would make you a...let me see...I know this one...oh, yeah...a woman. Steady on, cranky bear! Sitting on my arse isn't how I make money, honey, but I thought you already knew that. And quoting me isn't really funny...you should be flattered that I called you a man, isn't that what you want everyone to think you are?

I was watching that show the other night, but I just can't figure it out. These broads just open suitcases. And by the way Rebecca I truely love your avatar. That woman looks beyond attractive. I can't figure it out either but who needs to? Thanks, Banshees, it's Ava at her best - she was such a vamp...and a tramp....I love her....and what is beyond attractive? You are now entering the Twilight Zone..... -
It's OK, Banshees, you don't have to throw yourself on a grenade for me, but it is sweet of you....and Windsor, you call me a whore then refuse to pay for my services? What's up with that? That would make you a ...let me see...I know this one....oh, yeah....a man.

Rebecca, you're living in the past. Thank the gods the tourists have gone home....it's a bit late for you to be SUPPORTING your team now, isn't it, Professor?? When the chips were down you were ready to dump them right quick as I recall!!! There's no doubt I can be fickle Rebecca. I'm thinking of supporting New Zealand. I see that they trounced some second raters last night. I am flabbergasted, Professor!! I thought only juveniles behaved like that! I suppose you've latched onto some other celeb now after dumping poor Tess...I now have Series 1 and 2 of "Robin's Nest"....in case you're interested....but I suppose not....*loud sigh* -

In case you've forgotten, my name isn't Matilda, it's R-E-B-E-C-C-A ..say it out loud, it's really not that hard...no, I wasn't referring to anyone's appendage, assuming they have one of course...and what the hell kind of a name is Godot anyway, and could you find a less attractive picture, or is that what you really look like? Wouldn't surprise me if the avatar was better-looking than you...I think I'll give up tolerating you for the duration....whatcha fink, geez?? -
Oh well, at least that is one thing I have to look forward to... Just for that, I'm not going there.... Oh well, not to worry. I'm sure there will be plenty more whores in hell... Yeah, I expect you're right, this whore always needs paying, honey, whereas the ones in hell probably don't...which reminds me, you owe me twenty quid....

Read Any Good Books Lately?

Agreed, what would the good guys do if the bad guys weren't there? Sit around twiddling their wands I guess... I enjoyed the first four books, she lost me in Order of the Phoenix (hard going), redeemed herself somewhat with Half-Blood Prince....perhaps she should have quit while she was ahead. There are those who will keep reading just to see if she fires up again or to see how it all ends - I think the books, at least four, would have been popular even without the movies, but I think maybe she kept writing because of the movies. -

"Slither" - a send-up of all those B-grade horror movies of the eighties, complete with language - the extras on the dvd are hilarious. -

Yeah, the bookies, they'll be cleaned out if he dies! I was referring to the readers when I said "anyone", but I see your point, but then again, who cares if the bookies get cleaned out, apart from them? Long Live Harry Potter and Death To Voldemort!! -

Rowling was right on the money for the first 4 - Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and then completely lost the plot (and many readers) with Order of the Phoenix, managed to stumble back with Half-Blood Prince, so, who knows what unpredictable things may happen in the next story? She was in tears over killing off Sirius, so can she really bring herself to kill off Harry? The odds are against. And does anyone want the bad guy to win? -

Not the smartest idea you ever had, outing yourself as a tail-gater, and also someone who possibly drives without working brakes - I'm real glad I won't ever meet you on the road. I'm not a tail-gater and I keep my brakes in working order. Other drivers have no way of predicting with certainty that my brakes will work; some stupidly dangerous drivers behave as if they have that certain knowledge. I'm real glad I won't ever meet you on the road. Probably just as well - I might be tempted to break my own rule about disabled people...
-
Funnily enough, we were making plans to meet over the holidays, believe it or not, but on reflection I see that it was just Windsor's bl***y sick sense of humour making it's presence felt.....nasty boy... The chances of us meeting would be Buckley's and none in this world, however I'm not looking forward to the prospect of meeting him in hell one day, and unfortunately that is about as certain as breathing!
-
Quite. We're all glad we won't have to meet you, period. When I want your puerile opinion I'll ask for it - MYOB.
-
As if anyone would give a flying f**k about anything you have to say, you being such an expert on everything in the world and all...
-
I have never yet written anything about testicles - obviously you don't pay attention...
-
Apparently there is some doubt as to the legality of the Charles/Camilla marriage, making it possible on the death of Her Maj for the crown to pass directly to Prince William, who by all accounts doesn't want it - that could cause a bit of a ruckus...
