Funny that. You did at one point. I bet Paul Smith never gets this shirty... I like Paul Smith's shirtiness, but if he dies today, have I posted this in the wrong place. It seems ridiculous to me that a forum headed 'Dead of 2010' does not in fact mean the Dead of 2010 but really seems to mean 'The Dead of 2010 who are not on other threads'

Hear, hear. Absolutely agree.

Zsa Zsa, why not..

Hardly a comedy, very sad life

I tell you, I'm quite shocked that I've gotten 8 hits this year, quite insane I think. And considering I had a few "misses" who knows how high I could have been. Still, I'm looking good for a top 20 finish perhaps, definitely getting my best ever finish on the DDP. If you think you have got too many, pass some to me. Ain't got a one yet, a dismal year for Feng Shui Pig. Ah well, there's always next year! Can't wait, but maybe a plague in the last 3 months of 2010 might help too!

Alf Howard dead at 104. The last surviving member of Mawson's Antarctic expedition of 1929-1931. Died early July but just discovered. Would have picked for DDP but doubted he'd get an obit in UK.

Already reported 10 hours ago here I take it that HCW is down on the rota for 'post police' duties this week? Thats right sonny boy, yer nicked Oright then, Mr Plod, where's the rule that says you cannot post a death in more than one place? This list is the Dead of 2010 and if he died in 2010, he ought to be posted here, even if he qualifies to be posted in other categories. The "rule" is to post the death once. Do a damn search and make sure it hasn't already been posted. Unless, of course, someone has posted exactly the same obscure death on a different thread only a few moments earlier, when you feel utterly safe in the knowledge that the very recent news of the deceased nobody would be known to you and to you only. That would make it a forgivable sin in my humble opinion. What's the logic behind it being posted only on one thread? And why are people too frequently almost rude to those who post a death when posted already elsewhere? Too often verging on a lack of charity and courtesy it seems to me.

I think it's been in ill health for a decade. But would score well on DDP, under 30 years old!

Very droll line... one of the best! Bouquets for you.

Anna Wing because I have never heard of her. That must be a sign. (I thought Herman Wouk was on the list last time? I think I voted for him. Another sign?)

What a life - not being able to speak to anyone for many years. Hope she was an introvert.

Congratulations, a much deserved death I am sure.

Herman Wouk. It's the deathlist writers festival and the 'Will to Live On' is fading.

I always wondered why it was called Taco Bell. Well, not always. Once or twice maybe. Once or twice more than me, but then I am so thoughtless

Out of curiosity, is that the same person as Rosemary Pitman, or is that a different Rosemary? I know nothing about the British royal family and am proud... It is... It is what? Same or different?
