I enjoyed this book by Patrick Süskind, along with all his other books. Including the Perfume and the Double Bass. I think they give a frightening insight into human nature. I love his pictorial style. Apart from that the Barney Thomson series by Douglas Lindsay is funny as hell. Assuming they haven't lost or gained a lot through translation into/out of German.

The band and in particular Dieter Bohlen. They have been terrorising Germany for years and that bloody idiot Bohlen is still far to visible on our screens. Most recently on the jury of the German version of Britain's got Talent where he gets plenty of opportunities to "help" young, brown haired girls with their singing carreers...
