Just in case...there's BBC ones in the Dead of 2012 page as well.

It was mock baiting, a sort of 'Fight, fight, fight' but not meant seriously. All apologies.

Great job Mr. Black!

The one I have added since coming back is Florence Green, her demise has boosted Trautmann's status to the bottom of the 1000 + group. Ian Paisley is conspiciously absent from the master list but a few teams are into four figures, there's well over 300 points still on offer for a death today and some notable low-hangers still tease us. All told: I'm fairly confident we WILL get a winner this year.
As much as I'd love to claim that hit, I think Captain Chorizo picked her rather than me.

TV actor Ben Richards has an unspecified cancer; prognosis is that it is beatable however.
-
Actor Ben Gazzara has died aged 81. One of those actors whose name you know because he's been in so many things, yet you struggle to remember exactly what!
Ironically succumbed to pancreatic cancer, the same thing that killed his "Road House" co-star Swayze.
How ironic.

Everytime I see this thread updated I get excited (poor choice of words perhaps) by the though it's about Faustino!
My DDP needs to get going...
Faustino Sainz Munoz isn't a Cardinal, so you'd probably be better off looking out for the Clerics thread to rise to the top! I think a few people have picked him on the DDP this year, however I dropped him from the squad as: A) I'm too impatient and B )I discovered he was still well enough to preside over Mass in December (the story is a bit mangled by Google translate, I'm afraid).
Also, I was having obit concerns. Is he as newsworthy as we might think? The Times would have been most likely to give him a write-up and now that they are no longer considered a valid obit source due to their paywall, his chances of scoring points might have been severely impeded. I'd hazard a guess that The Scotsman would be his best chance, they seem to report Catholic goings on much more than their counterparts in England, possibly due to a wider proportion of their readership being of that persuasion.
He'll probably die tomorrow and get a double page Telegraph spectacular now I've written that.
Aye, for some reason I had a feeling about a week in that I'd made a mistake, just going off news from a year before...
Looks like him, Lee Evans and Peter Macbeth are already write-offs for me, very poor start

Funny if both the queen and prince Philip died in 2012.
Looking forward to the untimely death of Clarkson this summeŕ and aging 70s sitcom actors, Richard osullivan and ,Brian Murphy who will be leaving us in late November 2012.
First to go this year even though he is not on the list, and thats William roach, he won't see February out and warren Mitchell will pop his clogs early march.
Remember Jim dandys forecasts are 90 percent accurate.
