Hi Arnold and Stayin Alive
We've had our eye on Reg Varney for some time now although he still seems to be in good health
However we completely overlooked Stephen Lewis (Blakey) mainly because he's still appearing in Last of the Summer's Wine and you couldn't pay me to watch that. Interestingly he's a bit coy about his age and a solid morning's research has got me nowhere - does he have something to hide?
If any of Stephen's relatives drop in here can you find out how old he is and let us know? Thanks.
Kay Walsh - we might need an "is she famous enough" vote.

A tremendous achievement for our marketing department.
I'd also like to mention Yahoo's website of the day on 14th October www.mickhucknall.com which lists 1000 people more annoying than Mick Hucknall
Can't believe they've found 1000

Mr Reaper
Charles Lane is definately famous enough. There seems to be some dispute over his age though. I have one official biog listing his d.o.b. as 1899 and another as 1905
Hmmmm. Either way he's on my list

That's an excellent illustration Mr Reaper. I'll immediately widen my investigative search engine.
I have an excuse for not being busy - what's yours?

Dear Boots
Rodney is indeed one to watch for 2004 having shown a lot of good form in the 2003 trials. Last we heard he was recovering from brain surgery again, never easy as he approachs 82.
He's been pretty bullish in the press about his prospects of joining his career which was dead and buried some time ago.
Not sure what you see in him

Oooohhhhh tetchy - keep your hat on.
Can you be famous solely for be married to someone famous. I need clarity.

Dear Catherine
You must have amazing hearing as Charles Lane is a mere 98. A definate contender if the panel can be convinced he is famous enough.
Alzheimer's isn't really a terminal condition, just look at Ronnie. And Charlton's only 79 (ish).
